First presented by the youth ministry of my local church, I began attending the National Youth Conference when I was fourteen years old.
As one of the first events outside of my local church where I was exposed to worship, youth conference is seen as the beginning of my ministry beyond the walls of my church.
The connections I've made at conferences throughout the years continue to open doors and present me with lots of opportunities.
Additionally, it has helped me to be more creative and aware of what God wants me to write while listening to His voice.
Witnessing young people unite in praise of God and showcasing their creative expressions through music, drama, and dance is truly a powerful experience.

Over 15 years!
Since my dad was the national youth director, I have always remembered attending the national youth convention as a child. I discovered that I was constantly participating in youth ministry activities, and even as I grew older, I continued to feel driven to do so.
The relationships that develop by actively participating in the convention and the sectional competitions are some benefits you truly enjoy, in addition to the teachings and the outpouring of the holy spirit that you experience at the convention.
To have the same experience, I would encourage any young person to attend the national youth conference 2024.
There is cause for celebration and enjoyment over the joint assembly of young people from all the assemblies of God.

For the past twenty (20) years I have attended the AOG youth conference which was introduced to me by my mom as a child. The conference helped me make lifelong connections and friendships in addition to giving me insightful knowledge and practical tools for spiritual development.
The theme of this year's conference, "BUT YOU SHALL RECEIVE POWER WHEN THE HOLY SPIRIT HAS COME UPON YOU ACTS 1:8 NKJV," centers on what is most needed, hence I encourage every young person to attend.
You will have an experience to enhance your spiritual growth.

Since being appointed a YM leader ten years ago, I have been attending the AOG Youth Conference. My introduction to the conference came from sectional meetings.
When I think back to my first convention, I was apprehensive about what to expect. However, after witnessing other young people like myself who were passionate about serving God, I was inspired to serve God more intentionally and was challenged to work harder in my youth ministry so that we could be fearless and more willing to pursue the things of God.
To the young people, I urge you to attend the Youth Conference 2024 as it will positively impact your lives and give you a fresh outlook on Christianity serving as a young Christian.
